The journey of Amelia and Daniel is coming to a close. This Tuesday, November 5, M6 is airing the final two episodes of Murder Club. Will the series, led by Tiphaine Daviot and Eric Cantona, get a second season?
Premiered on October 29 on M6, the crime series Murder Club is nearing its conclusion. After two weeks on the air, the network will broadcast the last two episodes of the season tonight.
Starring Tiphaine Daviot and Éric Cantona, Murder Club has immersed viewers in the story of Amelia Delcourt, a fearless young police officer who has just joined the homicide squad to unmask Shakespeare, a serial killer haunting the area for over a decade.
Determined to stop the killer from striking again, Amelia had to partner with Daniel Hansen, a profiler shunned by his peers but whose expertise might be key to capturing the killer.
After an intense investigation, viewers will finally discover the true identity of the killer and his connection to Daniel tonight on M6.
Will There Be a Season 2 for Murder Club?
While this anticipated finale is expected to answer many questions, it still leaves the door open for a potential sequel.
As of now, M6 has not officially ordered a new season for Murder Club. As usual, the network is waiting for a complete viewership report from the two weeks of airing before making a decision.
However, fans of the show can remain hopeful! Indeed, Tiphaine Daviot hinted that a new season was still under consideration.
“It all depends on the ratings, but yes, a season 2 is considered. The series was written with a sequel in mind,” the actress explained in an interview with Allociné at the La Rochelle Fiction Festival in September.
So, it’s a situation to keep an eye on.
