Iris Season 2 on Canal+: Is Doria Tillier Returning for More?

After three weeks on the air, Canal+ is set to broadcast the last two episodes of Iris this Monday, December 9. The series, known for its quirky nature, was created, written, led, and directed by Doria Tillier (Children Are Kings).

Over six episodes, viewers have been engrossed in the life of Iris, a woman who thinks differently from everyone else.

While Iris may have a head like everyone else, her mind is anything but ordinary. Her way of speaking is also quite unique, often saying things others wouldn’t dare to.

As a result, the list of people she frustrates grows daily. Yet, it often seems that Iris herself suffers the most from her unconventional ways. And love? When you do nothing like anyone else, you find it far from clichés…

In the series, Doria Tillier acts alongside François Morel, Jeanne Balibar, Pascale Arbillot, Maël Besnard, Anaïde Rozam, Michel Masiero, and Denis Podalydès.

Quirky, original, and brilliantly penned, Iris won the award for the best 26-minute series at the La Rochelle Fiction Festival.

However, as the saga of this extraordinary woman comes to a close, viewers are likely wondering if Iris will have a second season.

Will There Be a Season 2 for Iris?

As of now, Canal+ has not confirmed a second season for Iris. The network is probably waiting to see the audience results both on-air and on its streaming platform.

Fans will need to be patient to find out the network’s decision. Nevertheless, Doria Tillier hinted in an interview with Allociné last September that “anything is possible“.
