Must-See Update: M6 Changes ‘The Rookie’ Broadcast Schedule Tonight!

On the evening of Saturday, July 12, M6 kicked off the premiere of the unprecedented Season 7 of The Rookie, the crime series led by Nathan Fillion. The season started off with a bang as John Nolan, fresh out of recovery, immediately plunged into the pursuit of two fugitives.

The LAPD also had to adjust to the arrival of two new rookies, Patrick Keleher (Seth Ridley) and Deric Augustine (Miles Penn), who are set to stir things up in the daily routine of the team.

M6 Alters The Rookie Broadcast Schedule

While viewers had grown accustomed to watching three new episodes of The Rookie every Saturday night, M6 will change its broadcast strategy starting July 19.

In contrast to its usual practice of accelerating the pace of its series, sometimes airing up to five episodes in one evening, M6 will now slow down the rhythm.

From this evening forward, only two new episodes from Season 7 will be shown each Saturday night, followed by reruns of Season 2.

This is good news for fans of The Rookie who will now only need to stay up until 10:45 PM to catch all the latest investigations of their favorite hero.

What to Expect in the Upcoming Episodes of The Rookie Season 7

This coming Saturday, July 19 at 9:10 PM, M6 will air Episode 4 of Season 7 of The Rookie, titled “The Threat.” In this episode, Wesley returns to the prosecutor’s office, while Celina leads a delicate operation following a multi-car crash. When Nolan discovers a woman tied up in the trunk of a car, the team embarks on the hunt for a potential serial killer…

The channel will continue at 9:55 PM with Episode 5 titled “To the End,” in which Nyla returns to duty after being assaulted. She does everything in her power to track down the serial killer who targeted her.

Without sufficient evidence to arrest him, she confronts the killer, promising him that he won’t get away. Meanwhile, Bailey, still under threat from Jason Wyler, makes a drastic decision to hand him over to Malvado…
