Exciting news for dance movie enthusiasts! A TV series inspired by one of the world’s most famous film franchises will soon be available for free on TF1+. The show, Step Up: High Water, is based on the popular Step Up film series, which was notably propelled to fame by Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum.

Remember, these two actors fell deeply in love during the filming of the original movie. They later married and had a daughter. You can only imagine how much this shared journey meant to them. It’s no surprise that the couple decided to produce the series that brought them together.

With a total of five films released, the series itself consists of three seasons, all of which will be available from March 26 on the TF1+ platform! First launched on YouTube in 2018, Step Up: High Water takes us deep into the lives of students at a prestigious arts school in Atlanta.

The show particularly follows the journey of fraternal twins Tal (Petrice Jones) and Janelle (Lauryn McClain), who have just moved from Ohio. They quickly learn how tough this new world is and find themselves with no choice but to work tirelessly to prove they deserve their place.

Ne-Yo Stars in Step Up: High Water

Despite the challenges, both on and off stage, Tal and Janelle are determined to achieve their dreams and seize every opportunity. The series features Ne-Yo, the famous singer, and also includes one of the last roles played by Naya Rivera (Glee).
