The “Now You See Me” series continues with a third installment, bringing in fresh faces for the most dangerous mission yet. Check out the new trailer.
Nearly a decade has passed since the release of “Now You See Me 2”. Just when it seemed the series might have concluded, a third installment is set to hit theaters on November 12, with special previews starting on November 11.
This new chapter once again takes the team of illusionists around the globe for a plot that promises to be even more thrilling than its predecessors. The official synopsis reads:
“The Horsemen return for the most breathtaking heist imaginable! Joined by a group of aspiring young magicians hoping to emulate their success, they must push the boundaries of illusion to pull off their most spectacular trick yet: stealing the world’s most valuable jewel from the clutches of a formidable criminal organization…“
New Faces
The entire cast from the first two films is back, but there are some notable new additions, such as Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Dominic Sessa (Winter Break), and Rosamund Pike, who plays the antagonist in this third film.
For reference, the first two films of the series grossed a whopping $687 million worldwide.
