Highly-Anticipated Series Rated 4.2/5 Returns in Just One Month!

A new trailer for the “One Piece” series has just dropped, giving fans a sneak peek at Season 2, set to premiere on Netflix on March 10.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting since the summer of 2024, but the wait is nearly over as Season 2 of One Piece is about to make its debut on Netflix in just one month. This next installment will continue the saga of the best-selling manga of all time, bringing back the Straw Hat crew led by the pirate Monkey D. Luffy, along with some new, iconic characters from the comic books.

Exciting New Characters Joining Season 2

Of particular note is Tony Tony Chopper, who has been teased in earlier previews and is revealed even more in the latest Season 2 trailer. A fan favorite, there’s no doubt he’ll also become a cherished character in the live-action adaptation.

Another key character making her debut this season is undoubtedly Miss All Sunday, also known as Nico Robin (played by Lera Abova). However, it’s worth mentioning that we haven’t yet seen official images of the major villain of Season 2, Mr. 0 / Crocodile (played by Joe Manganiello), or of Portgas D. Ace, whose role has been revealed to be played by Cobra Kai star, Xolo Maridueña.

The first season of One Piece was a massive hit on Netflix during the summer of 2024. Highly anticipated, the adaptation of the cult manga managed, surprisingly, to win over a large number of fans of the original work. The involvement of manga creator Eiichiro Oda in the series undoubtedly played a role in its success.

Will Season 2 Improve on the First?

A common criticism of the first season was the quality of the special effects. Filming during the COVID-19 pandemic meant the production had to rely on studio settings and green screens. The new footage suggests a significant improvement in visual quality and enhanced visual effects.

Will the new season of One Piece live up to the first? Netflix has already committed to an additional season, with filming underway, suggesting a potential release on the platform by 2027.

Catch Season 2 of One Piece starting March 10, exclusively on Netflix.
