Sabine Confronts Past Memories

Clément tells Janet that an article is about to be published alleging that Atlan accused him of bribing a witness to frame him. While Janet is confident that no one will believe the story, Becker reminds her that he once suspected his wife of having an affair with him. As she probes whether it was true, Becker admits he doesn’t know but wonders if his wife was in love with him since she had stolen the witness’s details from his computer.

Meanwhile, Sabine reads the article in Midi Libre and sees a photo of Atlan, recognizing the man she met in her teenage years. She starts to suspect that this man might have been her mother’s lover.

Elsewhere, Judge Alphand calls Claudine to her office and agrees to her request for a face-to-face between Jérémy and the notorious witness. When Claudine asks why she changed her mind, Cécile explains that she must consider the similarities between the two cases.

At the same time, Atlan accompanies Margot to her meeting with the dean of the law school at the University of Montpellier. As she tries to understand his motives, Atlan reveals that he had a mentor at her age whose support was crucial to his career. He feels it’s only right to now pay it forward to talented and promising individuals.

Meanwhile, Claudine visits Jérémy in the visiting room and shares the good news. She asks him to mentally prepare for the confrontation, as the goal is to get him out of prison.

At the end of the day, Sabine visits her father for dinner and questions him about the article in Midi Libre. The commissioner assures her that Atlan is spouting nonsense. When she inquires if something happened between him and Claudine, Becker acknowledges his doubts but admits he never had any proof.

Sabine then reveals to him that Atlan once picked her up from high school when she was a teenager. She had followed him because her mother had introduced him as a friend a few days earlier. They went to a restaurant, but Claudine was held up in court and only arrived at the end of the meal, visibly stressed. Without even sitting down, she had taken Sabine and left. Clément is left thoughtful.

Noura Asks for Salomé’s Help

Noura wants to buy a gift for Pablo and asks Salomé for advice on something related to climbing. The teens then look at different models of climbing shoes before heading to school.

Seeing them arrive together, Pablo struggles to hide his anxiety. He later finds a moment alone with Salomé to make sure she intends to keep their secret. Irritated, she assures him she’s not there to ruin his relationship.

In the afternoon, Salomé meets up with Clara for some climbing. After scaling the practice wall, Salomé confides that the activity helped clear her mind. Clara tells her she’s there if she needs to talk.

Meanwhile, Noura visits Pablo and presents him with a pair of climbing shoes. Pablo kisses her and thanks her. But secretly, he recalls his recent outing with Salomé and the kiss they shared.
