Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 10-Second Cameo in a ’90s Cult Comedy Shocks Fans!

In 1992, Mike Myers and Dana Carvey revolutionized American comedy with the film Wayne’s World, a movie that quickly achieved cult status! Emerging from their Saturday Night Live roots, the duo delivered a hilarious performance filled with parodies and unforgettable sequences!

An Epic Cameo Appearance

The film includes several nods to pop culture, poking fun at early ’90s blockbusters like Jurassic Park. However, one reference stood out above the rest: Terminator 2!

At 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 35 seconds into the movie, the T-1000 makes a notable appearance in a brief scene, thrilling fans of the massive 1991 hit Judgment Day, which grossed $517 million worldwide.

Robert Patrick, who portrayed the mimetic poly-alloy cyborg, agreed to make this epic cameo, reprising his role as the menacing villain flawlessly. Dressed in his iconic police uniform, he stops Wayne’s car in what initially seems to be a routine check. At first, the audience is unaware of the identity of this law enforcement officer.

The T-1000 in All His Glory!

He then orders the hero to roll down his window, removes his helmet, takes off his sunglasses, and leans forward. We then see the T-1000 holding up a photo of a young man (oddly, not John Connor)! “Hey, do you know this boy?” he asks, reminiscent of the scenes from Terminator 2 where he is searching for John in the arcade.

Terrified, Wayne screams in horror and speeds away to escape one of the greatest villains in the history of cinema! The T-1000 then begins to follow him with his characteristic determined cyborg stride.

He only appears on screen for about ten seconds, but that’s enough to make it a standout cameo! It’s especially well-executed by director Penelope Spheeris, who managed to make this brief appearance iconic with perfect staging. It’s worth noting that Robert Patrick also makes a brief cameo as the T-1000 in Last Action Hero with Schwarzenegger.
