This Sunday, TMC is airing “Love Struck Before Christmas,” a holiday movie featuring Teri Hatcher and James Denton, known as Susan and Mike from “Desperate Housewives.”
With the holiday season just around the corner, TMC is lining up a new Christmas movie every day to get everyone in the festive spirit. This Sunday, December 8th at 1:50 PM, the channel will air “Love Struck Before Christmas,” marking a reunion for Teri Hatcher and James Denton, who played Susan and Mike in Desperate Housewives.
When Teri Hatcher and James Denton Fall in Love Again
James Denton plays Ethan Holt, a project manager at Bellingham, a major real estate construction firm. He works alongside Sean Doyle, an executive who doesn’t shy away from using questionable tactics to win contracts. Sean instructs Ethan to intimidate Lottie Feldman, a newsstand owner who refuses to sell her shop as the developer plans to demolish the entire neighborhood.
Teri Hatcher portrays Joyce, Ethan’s wife, who reminds him that on this December 24th, they are celebrating exactly twenty years since they first met in an elevator that broke down, trapping them together for four hours.
They plan to celebrate the occasion when Ethan returns from his company’s Christmas party. However, before he can join the celebration, he must first stop by to pressure Lottie Feldman, much to Joyce’s displeasure.
Joyce also reveals that now their adopted children are grown, she wants to return to school to become a lawyer. However, the tuition is expensive, and Ethan is hesitant about her plans. He then regrets the choices he’s made, pondering how different his life would have been if he had been less kind and had taken the elevator with Sean instead of Joyce.
A Santa Claus overhears his wish and grants it: Ethan wakes up on December 1st, not the 24th, as co-owner and CEO of Doyle & Holt… but he is not married to Joyce.
