Game of Thrones Star on Shocking ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Scene!

Who is Prince Baelor?

Facing a trial by combat after assaulting Prince Daeron, Dunk must gather six knights to confront his opponent’s team. Just when he manages to recruit only five, Baelor Targaryen joins unexpectedly. This twist, set against a backdrop of chivalric heroism and justice, was exactly what was needed to excite Game of Thrones enthusiasts!

“I think he’s someone who thinks deeply, carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders in a way. I see him a bit like a mountain gorilla, who could either rip your head off in an instant or envelop you completely with his arms. And it’s impossible to predict what he will do until the very last moment,” Bertie Carvel described in an exclusive interview.

A Targaryen Unlike Any Other

The future king does not hesitate to side with a mere wandering knight, even if it means crossing swords with his own family members. No Targaryen in the other Game of Thrones series would have made such a choice. This unexpected aspect made the role of Prince Baelor particularly intriguing for the English actor:

According to Bertie Carvel, Baelor’s Targaryen blood does not necessarily dictate all his actions. Instead, his ability to make the right choice when faced with such situations defines his character.

However, in the eyes of his performer, the prince is not “a good man”: “That doesn’t mean he doesn’t carry weapons and wear black armor, and that he hasn’t slaughtered enemies (…). He is a soldier, as well as a world leader.”

Episode 4 of the series “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” has generated significant excitement among fans. Today, the episode is among the highest-rated in the saga, with near-perfect scores of 9.7 out of 10 on IMDB and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
