Kristen Stewart Wants to Direct Twilight Remake 14 Years Later!

While promoting her directorial debut “The Chronology of Water” in the U.S., Kristen Stewart has expressed a potential interest in one day remaking “Twilight”.

Having acted from a young age, Kristen Stewart is now making waves as a director with her first feature film, The Chronology of Water, which premiered in France last October 15th. As she continues to promote the film across America, the actress made a surprising revelation: she is open to the idea of directing a remake of Twilight—a saga that turned her into a global star.

It was at the Palm Springs Film Festival, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, that Stewart dropped the bombshell. When asked if she would consider revisiting any of her past films as a director, Kristen Stewart responded:

Imagine if we had a big budget, lots of support, and love from the fans. I would love to do a remake, a reboot. I’m in, I commit to it!

What Does Kristen Stewart Think of Her Past Films?

While her statement was delivered with a hint of humor, could Kristen Stewart genuinely take on such a project? Fans, certainly, would be thrilled. Continuing her remarks, the actress expressed her satisfaction with the filmmakers she collaborated with during the saga:

I love what all the directors did with those films. They were so true to themselves, quirky, a bit eccentric, and so committed during that time when they didn’t yet know who they were, before they became famous.

The Chronology of Water will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 3rd next year.
