My First Movie Experience with The Three Little Builders – For Ages 3+

Releasing July 1 – A first-time event! The Three Little Builders make their big screen debut with episodes as entertaining as they are educational.

You might be familiar with the story of The Three Little Pigs. Meet Cornelia, César, and Charlie, better known as The Three Little Builders. As their nickname suggests, these siblings, who first gained fame on France Télévisions, share a common passion for building.

Directed by Romain Villemaine, this animated film for toddlers features the two brothers and their sister teaching carpentry to rabbits, inventing gadgets, and building giant games. It’s proof that our beloved Builders are always ready to accomplish the impossible and take everyone on grand adventures!

Moana, the Legend of the End of the World – For Ages 6+

Releasing July 8 – Heeding the call of the ocean, Moana ventures for the first time beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with one goal: to restore her people’s prosperity. Accompanying her on this unforgettable journey is the famed demigod Maui…

Disney continues its strategy of adapting its biggest hits into live-action films. Following The Little Mermaid, Snow White, The Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast, it’s now Moana’s turn to hit the screen. A decade after the release of the animated film that was a sensation (with over 5 million tickets sold in France alone), director Thomas Kail (Hamilton) takes on this beloved Disney movie from the 2010s.

Catherine Laga’aia – previously seen in the series Wild Flowers – will portray the intrepid Polynesian in this live-action feature, while Dwayne Johnson will play Maui. Will this adaptation captivate both longtime fans and new audiences?

Between Sky and Earth – For Ages 3+

Releasing July 8 – This collection of seven short films includes stories about a chick flying for the first time, a puppy discovering nature, a mouse wanting to see the sun, and an owl trying to find sleep while forest animals wake up…

As the title suggests, Between Sky and Earth is a gentle animated program that invites the whole family to rediscover the world from the land and the sky. Through these seven short stories, totaling 33 minutes, the animal kingdom comes to life, offering a great way to discuss balance in nature with young viewers.

Kayara, Inca Princess – For Ages 8+

Releasing July 15 – In the Inca Empire, 16-year-old Kayara dreams of joining the legendary messengers who travel across the kingdom. However, only men can undertake this prestigious mission. To achieve her dream, she disguises herself as a boy.

You may have noticed, Kayara, Inca Princess, directed by Cesar Zelada and Dirk Hampel, is inspired by Mulan. Like the warrior princess, Kayara is ready to disguise herself as a boy to prove her worth and legitimacy to everyone. Alongside her is an adorable and clever guinea pig.

In terms of animation, viewers young and old can marvel at spectacular landscapes: the Inca temples, Machu Picchu, and even the mountain of the seven colors… Beautiful images and a story filled with great values.

The Girl in the Clouds – For Ages 6+

Releasing July 22 – Providence, an eleven-year-old girl, finds a magical feather that makes everything she writes come true. Accompanied by her guinea pig named Airbag, she sets off on an incredible journey…

Directed by Philippe Riche, who worked on the Attention Menhir! attraction at Parc Astérix, The Girl in the Clouds presents itself as one of the most entertaining animated films of the summer. The voice cast includes recognizable names: Jamel Debbouze as the little guinea pig, Grégoire Ludig as the inventor uncle, and Louane as Providence. This Franco-Belgian 3D animated film is a perfect summer treat for the whole family, starting from age 6.

Charlie and the Kangaroos – For Ages 6+

Releasing July 22 – After a car breakdown, Chris, a former weatherman, is forced to stay in a remote Australian town. There, he meets Charlie, a twelve-year-old Aboriginal girl passionate about kangaroos. From their budding friendship springs a project: to rescue and care for orphaned baby kangaroos, giving them a second chance.

Inspired by a true story, Charlie and the Kangaroos by Kate Woods (who worked on the series Umbrella Academy) pays tribute to the uplifting project led by this man and young girl, both passionate about animals.

The cast includes some well-known names, such as Ryan Corr as Chris (seen in House of Dragon), and Rachel House, who also voices Tala in Moana. The young Charlie is played by Lily Whiteley, marking her first film role—and it seems likely it won’t be her last.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day – For Ages 10+

Releasing July 29 – Four years after his first adventures, Peter, now an adult, has one sole purpose: to fight crime. But as responsibilities mount, the pressure causes a surprising physical transformation that threatens his existence. As he grapples with this strange metamorphosis, Peter Parker must confront one of the most formidable threats he has ever faced.

Tick tock, tick tock! It’s official, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is hitting theaters in less than a month. And if the opening scene is anything to go by, this sequel will be spectacular. For longtime fans, it’s the eagerly awaited moment to see the legendary… Hulk, not to mention Tom Holland and Zendaya.

Spider-Man 4 is a must-watch for families with kids aged 10 and up, although some darker or more intense action scenes might be more suited to teenagers. We just wish you a great movie experience!
