Nils May Leave Studio in Episode 51: What to Expect on Aug 25, 2025 [SPOILERS]

In the upcoming episode of “All for the Spotlight”… Marina finally agrees to coach the students for the advertisement audition, and Nils faces serious financial troubles.

Justine and Joël Persist on the Casting Announcement Topic

Joël revisits the topic of the advertisement casting and Marina’s vacation with Florence, the director. Florence remains firm; Marina needs to reduce her workload, as she does every year at this time. Despite already agreeing to cancel her vacation, the dance teacher cannot take on preparing the students. Joël believes that the Studio can’t miss out on this casting opportunity. Justine joins the discussion, but Florence ends it, refusing to discuss it further.

Éden watches a video of his performance in Le Roi Soleil when Justine approaches him. Missing the thrill of performing live, he wishes for more opportunities outside the Studio, in front of an audience or professionals. Justine agrees and tells him about the advertisement casting that Florence rejected. Éden shows great interest in the casting and asks her to show him the announcement so he can apply on his own.

He then shares the announcement with Mohamed, Solenn, and Baya, who are thrilled about the project, especially since it’s an international advertisement to be shot at the Eiffel Tower. When Marina enters the room, the group immediately pleads with her to coach them for the audition. Marina initially refuses, learning that the casting is only ten days away and that she was supposed to be on vacation. However, after persistent requests from the students, she promises to consider it.

Marina visits Florence’s office to discuss the casting. She hesitates to rearrange her schedule to help the students. Florence realizes that Justine has spoken to Éden about the project. Marina understands the students’ enthusiasm for the project, and the deputy director supports her, hoping Florence will reconsider.

Nils Considers Leaving the Studio Due to Lack of Funds

Nils tells Maddie that he might need to leave La Ciotat because he can no longer afford his rent after his PrivateMe account was closed. His parents can no longer support him. Finding a part-time job that fits his schedule proves difficult. Maddie would offer him a spot in their shared apartment if Sultana and Elimane weren’t already living there. As a last resort, Nils considers moving back in with his parents and working in his father’s garage. His family struggles to accept that being an artist is a real profession.

Maddie comes up with an idea: she will start a fundraiser to help Nils financially. However, he reacts poorly to the idea. He refuses to accept charity and finds it shameful. Maddie understands that his reaction is tied to his tough childhood. Nils recalls the social embarrassment he felt as a child. For him, the best solution seems to be resuming his videos on PrivateMe.

Maddie discusses Nils’s financial troubles and his desire to restart creating intimate videos with Elise. When he was active on PrivateMe, it wasn’t just for the money; he had an unhealthy relationship with the platform.

Nils has made up his mind: he’s going back to his family. Even if he completes his studies, his financial situation is unlikely to improve quickly, and it could take years before he can make a living from music. He tells Maddie that this lifestyle isn’t for him. After dancing with her, remembering the beginning of their relationship, he embraces her as she cries.

Julian Hopes to Change Eric’s Mind

At the Comet, Eric posts a job ad to replace Julian. Hadrien tries to persuade his father to keep his boyfriend as a waiter, but Eric refuses. He thinks it’s too risky to have him working in a bar since he’s an alcoholic.

When Julian sees the ad, he realizes he has lost his job. He still tries to convince his former boss to rehire him, but Eric stands his ground. Julian comes up with a plan to show how serious he is. He tells Hadrien that he will organize a happy hour to celebrate the duo of Élise and Ophélia, for which he has bought Eric’s favorite alcohol, and a soft drink for him.

During the happy hour, Élise sings a duet with Julian. Solenn and Hadrien are present, but Eric is not there.

Marina Agrees to Coach the Students

Marina tells Florence that she is finally interested in coaching the students. Perhaps she needs to try something new instead of retreating. Florence is worried for her, but ultimately accepts her decision.

Together, they present the casting announcement to the students. The students must present themselves in mixed pairs. Éden asks Mohamed if he can partner with Baya, but the couple already plans to work together. He then asks Solenn, who agrees but warns him that he needs to work hard because she’s not there to play around.

Justine confides in Éden with information she managed to get about the advertisement: the client wants the song Mad World. The students can rehearse with this song, giving them a significant advantage over other candidates.
