Elisabeth Agrees to Serve as Bait

In the morning, Alain suggests to Elisabeth that they leave tonight for Aix-en-Provence. Unfortunately, the businesswoman needs a bit more time to arrange her schedule. Her husband is not pleased with this response, as he doesn’t want to see the woman he loves endanger her life over a few meetings. Elisabeth, therefore, promises to see what she can do.

Upon arriving at work, Elisabeth tells Muriel that she needs to call the commissioner during the day to give her response. Unsure of what to do, Muriel advises her against taking such a risk. However, Elisabeth is fully aware that she is the police’s only hope. Despite her fear, she has no intention of backing down.

In the afternoon, Elisabeth calls Alain to inform him that she won’t be able to go to Aix-en-Provence. She then explains that the police want her to act as bait to catch the shooter. When he asks if it was Becker who asked her to do this, Elisabeth confirms it and adds that she trusts him completely. Alain tries to persuade her to refuse, but Elisabeth has made up her mind. Unwilling to stand by idly, she then calls Commissioner Becker to accept his proposition.

At the police station, Commissioner Becker and Alex are planning the strategy when Alain arrives and asks to speak with his friend. The doctor angrily accuses the policeman of endangering his wife’s life. Although the officer swears nothing will happen to her, Alain demands that Elisabeth be kept safe and that the risky plan be scrapped. Unfortunately, Commissioner Becker cannot comply.

As night falls, Elisabeth is about to leave her office when she receives a call from the shooter. “Do you have the $50,000? I want it by tomorrow. The full amount, non-negotiable. I will contact you at 12 PM to give you the meeting place, don’t miss my call. I’m warning you: don’t try to double-cross me. Come alone or you’re dead.“

The Nutrition Coach is Arrested

Régis Biron, the nutrition coach, is summoned to the police station for practicing medicine without a license, theft of prescriptions, and endangering public safety. Backed into a corner, Régis admits to Captain Léonie that he used prescriptions he bought online. Following these confessions, Manu asks him for a list of all his clients.

Meanwhile, Noura tries to contact Régis. As he doesn’t answer, she leaves a message on his voicemail asking him to call her back urgently. Stéphanie, who arrives at that moment, inquires about who her daughter was speaking with. When Noura tries to convince her it was Charlotte, her mother struggles to believe her, and tension quickly escalates.

In the afternoon, Manu summons Stéphanie and informs her that her daughter is among the many victims who were prescribed a weight-loss drug. While Stéphanie knew Noura was hiding something, she didn’t think it would go as far as secretly taking medication. After trying to reassure her, Manu encourages her to file a complaint.

Back at home, Stéphanie tells Noura that Régis Biron has been arrested by the police and that he faces jail time for prescribing medication without authorization. As Noura is left speechless, Stéphanie tries to make her realize the risks she took with her health. After breaking down in tears, Noura ends the conversation and locks herself in her room.

As night falls, Claire informs Dimitri that the nutrition coach has been arrested and the two friends toast to their successful collaboration.

Meanwhile, Noura confides in Charlotte about her weight issues. While Charlotte assures her that she is perfect, Noura counters that she struggles to look at herself in the mirror because she finds herself “disgusting“. Charlotte then reminds her that the women in the magazines are not the norm. The two friends then embrace each other.
