Berthier Guards Lucas

After a wonderful night with Alix, Richard is eager to see her again and promises to call her soon. Before she leaves, the businessman inquires why she got up during the night. The gallery owner convinces him she was just feeling peckish.

Meanwhile, Lucas and Dimitri tell Sibylle that their goods were confiscated by customs. When she blames them for a huge financial loss, Lucas, indifferent, dismisses her angrily. Outraged, Sibylle tells them to go their separate ways and emphasizes that from now on, they should act as strangers. She also warns them never to mention her name to the police, or they would face dire consequences.

As they leave, Dimitri is relieved at the thought of never seeing Sibylle again. Lucas, however, finds it hard to believe that Sibylle would leave them alone so easily, especially after such a financial hit. Knowing she could be vengeful, he asks Dimitri to stay alert while he takes steps to protect Emma.

Elsewhere, Berthier visits Nathalie to check in on her after hearing Lucas’s revelations. Though she has overcome her gambling addiction, Nathalie still struggles to find a job. Fortunately, she has the support of Lucas and Emma, who are always there for her in tough times. She later expresses her happiness that her daughter has met someone like Lucas.

Not far away, Alix shows José a photo of Richard’s safe. The fence can provide the necessary tools to crack it open for 2000 euros in cash.

Simultaneously, Lucas asks Emma to leave Montpellier until the situation blows over. Reluctantly, the young woman agrees to spend a few days at a friend’s place in Paris.

At L. Cosmétiques, Elisabeth informs Boris and Berthier that she has filed a complaint. Boris, having spoken with the company’s IT department, learns that there was no breach in their system, leading him to suspect an inside job. When Elisabeth asks if he has any suspects, the accountant feigns ignorance.

Noura Discovers Charlotte’s Betrayal

Since kissing Pablo, Charlotte hasn’t been herself, something her parents notice and attribute to a hangover.

At school, Charlotte thanks Salomé for helping her home. Their conversation is soon interrupted by Pablo, who wants to speak with her. Once alone, he apologizes for not behaving properly. Charlotte admits she shouldn’t have acted as she did, while Pablo reassures that there’s no awkwardness between them, saying, “You’re a great friend, and I don’t want this to mess things up between us.”

Noura, having seen them talk, follows Charlotte into the restroom and hears her crying. When she inquires what’s wrong, Charlotte snaps at her.

Worried, Noura finds Pablo to get some clarity. He eventually confesses that Charlotte kissed him. Enraged, Noura confronts Charlotte immediately. “I told you about my relationship troubles, I trusted you, and all you wanted was a chance to hook up with my boyfriend?“, she accuses, tears in her eyes. Charlotte insists it wasn’t intentional and asks for forgiveness, but Noura, disgusted, calls her pathetic and storms out crying. Charlotte then breaks down in tears.

Later that evening, Eve and Manu arrive at the Guérin’s for dinner. Charlotte, glued to her phone, sends a message to Noura who has blocked her. When her mother asks her to fetch the olive cake from the kitchen, she responds curtly in front of the guests before complying. In the kitchen, Charlotte unleashes her anger on the cake, which brings a smile to Manu who manages to lighten the mood.
