Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4 Starts with High Tension After Sully’s Exit!

Almost a year after the release of season 3, “Return to Sullivan’s Crossing” is gearing up for its major return to the U.S.! And it’s safe to say that there are some significant changes ahead. Scott Patterson, who played the character Sully, will not be part of the cast for season 4.

Scott Patterson Departs from “Return to Sullivan’s Crossing” after Season 3

This departure was a huge shock to the fans! Patterson himself took to social media to set the record straight. According to reports from American news source Deadline, things did not go smoothly behind the scenes:

“Multiple sources indicate that Scott Patterson was very concerned about the direction his character was taking and requested to be released from his contract after season 3. His request was granted.” However, the actor, known from “Gilmore Girls,” was not pleased with how his departure was communicated by the production.

It’s clear there was some tension! Nevertheless, the production of season 4 continued, and the premiere of this new season is scheduled for April 20th on the CW. Though Scott Patterson’s departure will be explained by Sully’s trip to Ireland, the start of the season will primarily be marked by the arrival of Liam (Marcus Rosner), who was seen at the end of season 3.

Does Liam Have Ulterior Motives in Season 4 of “Return to Sullivan’s Crossing”?

Maggie (Morgan Kohan), deeply affected by her reunion with the young man, will do everything she can to find the documents he needs so he can quickly return to where he came from. Meanwhile, Cal (Chad Michael Murray) is convinced that Liam is hiding the real reason for his return to Maggie’s life.
