Akim’s Dramatic Escape from Prison

Akim experiences a nightmare and wakes up abruptly in his cell.

Meanwhile, Liam and Thaïs are exploring options for their next vacation. Unable to agree, Liam proposes saving the money for their future apartment instead. Thaïs agrees to move in with him, and overjoyed, Liam passionately kisses her.

Elsewhere, Bilal secures a visitation with Akim. After catching up, Akim reveals he’s being transferred that night to a facility in Toulouse for vulnerable individuals, easing Bilal’s concerns about his brother’s safety. Akim makes Bilal promise to stay out of other inmates’ business, reminding him he doesn’t have a spare brother. Moved, Akim tells him, “You know I love you, no matter what. You know that, right? And give mom a big hug for me.” These words deeply worry Bilal.

Back in his cell, Akim hides a stack of bills in a bag of dirty laundry which he hands to another inmate, who in return gives him a gun.

Not far away, Bilal expresses to Ulysse his concerns for Akim, noting his brother’s uncharacteristic emotional openness and fearing he might not see him again.

At the end of the day, a police officer arrives at Akim’s cell for the transfer. Handcuffed and escorted to a van, Akim seizes his moment once they hit the road. With the guards distracted by their phones, he retrieves his weapon and demands to be uncuffed. Once free, he orders the driver to stop and makes his escape.

Tulli’s Confession

At dawn, Marie-Sophie tells her daughter she will start her community service next week at the Montpellier Ouest hospital’s road accident rehabilitation service. She will complete 130 hours over four months during weekends and school holidays.

At the police station, Tulli finally confesses and admits to killing Fred Rami. Rami had asked him for drugs, but Tulli, freshly out of jail, had refused. Rami then threatened to expose compromising information to the police. In a rage, Tulli grabbed a metal bar and struck Rami in the head, killing him instantly. He then loaded Rami’s body into his pickup truck and left it on a curve, hoping a car would run it over and make the death look like an accident.

Consequently, Tulli is taken into custody and charged with homicide, destruction of evidence, and desecration of a corpse.

Meanwhile, Charlotte tells Achille how much she admires her father. She notes that Sohan never complains and she considers him simply amazing.

At the same time, Sohan experiences chest pains and takes medication when he receives a call from Florent announcing the arrest of the murder suspect. Hours later, Zach Rami, the man who shot Sohan, surrenders at the police station.
