Keanu Reeves Teams Up With Transformers Director in New $1.1 Billion Saga Movie!

After lending his voice to the daredevil biker Duke Caboom in “Toy Story 4,” Keanu Reeves is teaming up again with the movie’s director for another blockbuster franchise.

Currently heard in cinemas voicing the stuntman toy Duke Caboom in “Toy Story 5,” Keanu Reeves is embarking on a new project that mixes animation and live action in a familiar universe.

A New Lego Movie

According to Deadline, the “John Wick” star is in negotiations to play the lead role in the upcoming Lego film, directed by Josh Cooley, who has significant experience with toy-based films, having directed “Toy Story 4” and “Transformers: Beginnings.”

No details about the plot of this hybrid feature film have been released yet, but it appears that the project was developed with Keanu Reeves in mind, who only gave his approval after the involvement of his former director from “Toy Story 4”.

This new movie, produced by Universal, will not be directly connected to the animated “Lego Movie” series, which has grossed over $1.1 billion and includes various spin-offs owned by Warner Bros. Universal acquired the adaptation rights to the famous bricks in 2020 and must quickly produce a film to avoid losing these rights, thus the recruitment of a major star like Keanu Reeves for the leading role.

Another Animated Project for Keanu Reeves

While details on this critical new movie for the future of the beloved Lego characters on the big screen remain under wraps, Reeves will also be heard in another animated film set in the world of feudal Japan and samurais. Additionally, the actor is set to reprise his iconic role as John Wick in a fifth installment of the cinema’s most famous assassin’s adventures.
