Will There Be a Season 2 for “Mémoire Vive” on M6 with Clémentine Célarié? Find Out!

On February 18, M6 premiered the first two episodes of its new hit series Mémoire Vive. Starring Clémentine Célarié and Elisa Erka, the show follows Esther Lefèvre, a retired court clerk who, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, decides to become a vigilante before her memories fade away.

She unearths a secret that has been buried for years and begins to systematically kill individuals from a mysterious list she had preserved. Her murders catch the eye of Célia La Goff, a young and daring investigator.

As Célia delves deeper into the case, she finds that the serial killer leaves messages on the bodies of her victims intended for her. What connects these two women? The answer unfolds in the last two episodes, airing on Tuesday, February 25 on M6.

Will There Be a Season 2?

At the end of the fourth episode of Mémoire Vive, Esther finds herself in a medical center alongside Carmen (Geneviève Emanuelli). She has been arrested by the police after committing numerous crimes.

The series ends on an open note, raising the question of a potential continuation. Although the original Turkish series from which Mémoire Vive is adapted had two seasons, it’s not certain that the French version will follow the same path.

The narrative involving Esther and Célia has effectively concluded in the final episode, revealing the motives behind the clerk’s revenge. Thus, it seems unlikely that Mémoire Vive will return for a second season.
