Last month, it was announced that the television series “The Mysteries of Love” would be coming to an end, and two of the actors have already filmed their final scenes.
The Curtain Closes on The Mysteries of Love
The beloved series “The Mysteries of Love” is nearing its conclusion. The official account of the JLA Groupe production company shared the news on X on October 9th, stating that the series would end its run on TMC after 14 successful years, in consultation with TF1.
As a reminder, “The Mysteries of Love” is the third spin-off of “Hélène and the Boys,” following “The Miracle of Love” and “Love Holidays.” The series continues to follow the same group of friends, led by Hélène Rollès (Hélène), Patrick Puydebat (Nicolas), Sébastien Roch (Cricri), Laly Meignan (Laly), and Laure Guibert (Bénédicte). The show also brought fame to Elsa Esnoult, who plays Fanny Greyson.
Farewell Performances from Two Actors
As production wraps up the final episodes, the time has come for farewells from two of the actors, David Proux and Marjorie Bourgeois. Proux, who plays Étienne, shared a photo on his Instagram with his fellow cast members and crew, captioning it: “#lastdayofshooting in my studio #lma Thanks to this whole team (and the others too) for these moments of sharing, laughter, and life. Safe travels to all!!! I wish you all the best.”
As for Bourgeois, she bid farewell to the set of her character, Commissioner Stéphanie Dorville’s apartment. On Instagram, the actress shared: “Today, the set of Stéphanie’s apartment went dark… We shot our very last sequence here this evening before it goes to sleep for good. For this final scene, we decorated a Christmas tree, celebrated Christmas, and then captured this place one last time in a heartfelt photo We have spent so much time here, filmed so many scenes, shared so many laughs. In a few weeks, the sets of the police station and Stéphanie’s office will also go dark… But everything we experienced here will remain alive “
A Temporary Goodbye
Fans need not worry, though TMC will stop airing “The Mysteries of Love,” the show isn’t over yet. The series, which boasts nearly 1000 episodes and over 37 seasons, will continue on another network. It is currently unknown which network will take over and whether it will retain the title of “The Mysteries of Love.”
In the meantime, viewers can still enjoy new episodes of “The Mysteries of Love” on TMC until the end of 2025, every Sunday at 8 PM. The series is also available for free on replay on the TF1+ platform.
