Indeed, the character of Riri (Dominique Thorne) was introduced in November 2022 in Black Panther 2. Marvel Studios sees potential in her to spearhead a spin-off series.
It remains to be seen if they can also persuade newcomers to engage with the story of this female Iron Man, a relatively minor character in the comics. The answer will come by the end of June.

DC Comics’ most eccentric anti-hero is finally back. Revealed in the film The Suicide Squad, the character played by John Cena subsequently landed his own series spin-off. The second season had to wait several years, due to the overhaul of the superhero franchise orchestrated by James Gunn.
It should be noted that the series will play a role in the narrative arc of the new DC films. Links are also expected with the new Superman movie, which will be released in theaters just a few weeks before the airing of this second season.
- Outlander: Blood of my Blood – August
From the war-torn battlefields of World War I to the Highlands of 18th-century Scotland, this prequel revisits the love story of Jamie Fraser’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, and those of Claire, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, exploring the lengths one can go for love in an era when marriages often served strategic, political, or financial purposes.

Outlander, the hugely popular fantasy series adapting Diana Gabaldon’s novels, is nearing its end. As it does, Starz has planned ahead with a spin-off focused on the parents of our two heroes. The atmosphere is bound to be different since the action takes place in a completely different era, but it promises to be as romantic and epic as the original series.
Note that while Outlander was broadcast US+24 on Netflix, Blood of my Blood will only be available on the Max platform in France. No release date has yet been announced.
