Taylor Sheridan’s Standalone Series Returns for Season 4 – Not in Yellowstone Universe!

The fourth season of this series by Taylor Sheridan (“Yellowstone”) is now available on Paramount+.

Following the release of Tulsa King’s third season in September and the second season of Landman in November, you might wonder if October will miss out on a Taylor Sheridan-produced series. The answer is no, as the co-creator of Yellowstone brings us the fourth season of his series Mayor of Kingstown starting today.

A Marvel Universe Star Joins the Cast of This Crime Series

Premiering in November 2021, this crime drama is set in the fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan. It follows the exploits of Mike McLusky (played by Jeremy Renner), a businessman who runs his family’s empire, often blurring the lines of legality.

Though less famous than Sheridan’s other series, Mayor of Kingstown has been well received. Its strong viewership has earned the show a fourth season renewal, even after a severe accident that nearly claimed the life of its lead actor.

Stars from The Walking Dead and The Sopranos Join Season 4

Jeremy Renner returns to his iconic role and will face a new adversary from The Sopranos in this upcoming season. Actress Edie Falco, best known as the unforgettable Carmela Soprano, will portray a formidable opponent who won’t hesitate to confront McLusky directly.

Fans of The Walking Dead will also be delighted to see Lennie James (Morgan from the horror series and its spin-offs) join the cast. The British actor plays Frank Moses, a respected (and therefore intimidating) gangster, adding to the excitement of the new season.

Catch new episodes of Mayor of Kingstown’s fourth season weekly, exclusively on Paramount+.
