The answer is yes! Sky, the British network that co-produced the show with Canal+, officially announced the renewal last May, shortly after it aired in the UK. The series, featuring Tahar Rahim and Scottish actress Izuka Hoyle, had already made a strong impression in the UK.
To recap, the first season follows Amber Todd (Izuka Hoyle), a prison officer, tasked with escorting Tibor Stone (Tahar Rahim), a professional killer and high-value inmate, to court where he is to testify against his elite crime syndicate. Their convoy is brutally ambushed. Handcuffed to each other, they are forced to flee together.

Still haunted by the aftermath of the events and struggling to keep her family together, she is now tasked with escorting a renowned American academic turned notorious killer for extradition, a case that deeply divides public opinion. A plot designed to amplify what worked in the first season: a blend of explosive action, moral complexity, and characters caught in impossible situations.
The series remains in the hands of its creator and showrunner Matt Charman, an Oscar and BAFTA-nominated screenwriter known for his work on Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies. He is joined for this second season by Sophie Petzal, who will co-write the episodes. Filming is set to begin later this year. The series will be available in France on Canal+.
