This mystery is the foundation of “The Drama,” and the newly released trailer further teases this plot. The film is directed by Norwegian filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli, who is known for his unique blend of absurd and biting humor, as seen in “Sick Of Myself” and “Dream Scenario,” a film that provided Nicolas Cage with one of his most acclaimed roles in years.

Produced by A24, a major player in the American independent film scene, “The Drama” leverages its powerhouse duo who will appear together in no less than three major films this year.

“The Drama” hits theaters on April 8th next year in France.
