After months of anticipation, Prime Video has finally released the trailer for season 2 of “Maxton Hall,” a German teen series that captivated global subscribers last year.
Ruby and James are back, much to the delight of subscribers. Prime Video has just unveiled the trailer for season 2 of Maxton Hall, based on the novels by Mona Kasten.
This German teen series, the most watched around the world in 2024, narrates the complex romance between a quiet, model student played by Harriet Herbig-Matten and an arrogant millionaire heir portrayed by Damian Hardung within the private school of Maxton Hall.
When she accidentally becomes privy to a volatile secret, he is confronted with her sharp wit—for better or worse: he is determined to silence Ruby. Their fiery exchange of words unexpectedly ignites a spark…
What to Expect in Season 2 of Maxton Hall
One thing is certain, the trailer for season 2 of Maxton Hall is set to stir up strong reactions from fans of the series.
We find Ruby and James following their breakup. Each is attempting to live without the other, with the former devastated and the latter falling back into old habits (that is, into the arms of another girl). Recall, the end of season 1 of Maxton Hall concluded with the death of James’ mother. Distressed, he completely withdraws and eventually leaves Ruby, who cannot fathom his sudden change.
As the synopsis of the second novel in the Maxton Hall book series states, “never had she felt such intense emotions, but never had she been so hurt by someone.” Will she recover from this painful breakup and what awaits our star-crossed lovers in season 2? Tears, melodramatic scenes, and several kisses, if the trailer is anything to go by.
