#1 on Prime Video: Meet Fernando Lindez, Star of the Hit Spanish Romance Not for Under-16s!

Based on the novel by Mercedes Ron, “Whisper It to Me” is the latest New Romance release on Prime Video. Following its strategy to attract a young female audience, after the success of “Going the Wrong Way,” the platform has introduced a fresh cast of promising young actors to portray a teenage love triangle.

Among them is Fernando Lindez as Tiago Di Bianco, one of the two brothers who is about to capture young Kamila’s affection. And indeed, we knew we had seen this actor somewhere before!

Heartthrob Yesterday, Heartthrob Today.

First noticed in 2018 for his role in the Spanish version of the series SKAM, where he played Alejandro, actor and model Fernando Lindez, now 25, is firmly establishing himself in our screens as the archetype of the arrogant yet sensitive heartthrob, appealing to both female and male audiences.

This was already evident with Alejandro, a charismatic seducer in “Skam Spain,” but it’s with his role in the 7th season of “Elite” on Netflix that he will make his mark internationally in 2023. He plays Joel, a teen ostracized due to his homosexuality who finds love in the arms of Omar… and also Ivan. This complex choice echoes the one he will present to Kamila in the film “Whisper It to Me.”

In addition to the second and third films of the “Whisper It” trilogy, Fernando Lindez is also set to star in another romance currently in post-production, “The Last Sunrise,” based on the novel by Anna Todd who wrote the “After” trilogy. He will play Julian, who is (drumroll) a seducer who is arrogant yet sensitive. Stay tuned for its release on Prime Video.
