Sacha Uses Charlotte for His Own Ends

Hidden in a van, Manu and Élise keep an eye on Sibylle’s hideout.

Meanwhile, Charlotte tells Salomé that she has reconciled with Sacha and that she is planning to visit his place by the end of the day. Salomé realizes that she will once again be used as an alibi by him.

At the same time, Sibylle is on edge. Following the events of the previous day, she wants to prevent things from escalating. Asserting that he knows what he’s doing, her henchman leaves to scout the area. Upon exiting the building, he is photographed by Manu and Élise, but unfortunately, facial recognition yields no results.

By the end of the day, Charlotte meets Sacha at his apartment. After touring the apartment, the couple shares a passionate kiss. Sacha then suggests that they film themselves making love. When Charlotte hesitates, explaining that it makes her uncomfortable, Sacha turns cold and distant. He then adds that he thought their relationship was strong enough to handle it. Hearing his argument, Charlotte changes her mind and turns on the camera to show she fully trusts him before they kiss again.

Florent and Claire Have a Crucial Conversation

In the morning, Hélène receives a visit from Florent in the prison visiting room. After thanking him for everything he has done for her, she expresses concern for Claire and Victor. The lawyer then informs her that they will be heard by the prosecutor later in the day. Despite the serious charges against them, Florent promises to defend them vigorously.

Meanwhile, an article by Kira highlighting all the flaws in the Dambreville case investigation is published. While Claire is glad to feel supported, Prosecutor Picard fears he will have to manage a controversy. Commissioner Becker advises him to defuse the situation.

In the afternoon, Prosecutor Picard meets with Victor, Hélène, and Florent in his office. After acknowledging the numerous shortcomings in the investigation, he decides to drop the charges. The case is now closed.

Leaving the courthouse, Florent invites Claire for a drink. During their conversation, the nurse admits that what happened between them in recent days was not just a fleeting moment for her. Florent also confesses that it meant more to him as well and shares that it has deeply troubled him. “I think we need to face reality,” Claire explains before continuing, “We both know that our story is behind us. There’s someone who cares a lot about you, it would be a shame to lose her. So let’s close this chapter,” At these words, Florent agrees.

Back at his home, Florent gathers his courage and confesses the truth to Cécile. With some emotion, he says, “I love you. I don’t want to ruin everything. I’m deeply sorry to have made you doubt all this. I ask for your forgiveness,” To seal their reconciliation, the couple shares a tender kiss.
