The science fiction movie “Cold Storage,” starring Liam Neeson, Joe Keery, and Georgina Campbell, has just released its trailer. The film is set to hit theaters soon.
Following his role in the upcoming comedy “Is There a Cop to Save the World?” on August 13, Liam Neeson continues to delve into the comedy genre with “Cold Storage,” which just unveiled its trailer.
Directed by Jonny Campbell, this sci-fi comedy is an adaptation of the novel by David Koepp (screenwriter of Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, and Spider-Man), who also co-wrote the screenplay with the director. The feature film stars Liam Neeson, Joe Keery (Steve from Stranger Things), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), and Sosie Bacon (Smile).
The movie follows Teacake and Naomi, employees at a self-storage facility situated on the site of a former U.S. military base. The pair discovers that a highly contagious parasitic fungus has escaped from the sealed depths of the complex. The building’s occupants face a rapidly mutating microorganism that causes bodies to explode.
The two employees team up with a seasoned bioterrorism agent to survive the craziest night of their lives and save humanity from extinction, as the microorganism spreads and destroys everything in its path.
In the style of The Last of Us and Stranger Things, “Cold Storage” is expected to be released in theaters around 2026. Meanwhile, Liam Neeson will portray Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. in the sequel to the ZAZ comedy “Is There a Cop to Save the World?” which will be available in cinemas starting August 13.
Meanwhile, Joe Keery will star in the final season of the series Stranger Things, set to premiere on November 27.
